Preschool Info • Tuition • Registration While Our House opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 6 p.m., our toddlers' preschooler's academic day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 12 p.m. During this time, we give these children a balanced schedule of lessons from their teacher, group activities and play time. In addition, our children enjoy a long recess each morning, using one of our three playgrounds, and a snack time. Our half-day program is available only to children in our preschool rooms. Infants in our special infant room follow their own schedule, eating when hungry, sleeping when tired & spending the rest of their day exploring special toys & textures, and being held, rocked & 'walked' throughout the day. Our first priorities are your baby's health, safety and well-being. Children staying past noon bring their own lunch and eat in their classroom with their teacher and friends. After lunch, children clean up their classroom and prepare for a 90 minute rest time. When naptime is over, teachers prepare additional activities, an afternoon snack and a second recess. Children staying past 5:00 will watch a 30 minute video together and play until they are picked up.
