Our preschool programs occupies our bright, colorful classrooms and is licensed by the State of Colorado. Since 1990, we have offered preschool thru 'Our House'. Currently, we offer classrooms for infants (ages 6 weeks-18 months, starting 6/15/09), toddlers (12 months & walking thru 36 months) and preschoolers (ages 3-5).
Philosophy
We believe that your child is truly a gift from the Lord, demanding our greatest effort and highest respect. With this in mind, we believe that a loving relationship with a teacher and a varied set of daily activities must be the center of each child's day. This day must reflect a balance of group interactions with a teacher, individual interactions with that teacher and independent play in educational 'centers'. As children progress through our classrooms, we gradually increase the amount of time spent in group interactions with their teacher to build the attention span and their ability to work in groups.
Classes & Staffing Our staff is closely screened and carefully chosen. They all share a love for young children and for leading them in their growth and development. In our Infant & Toddler rooms, our staff-to-child ratio is 1:5, and in our Preschool rooms our ratio is 1:10. All classes participate in
special holiday celebrations and several field trips throughout the year.
Snacks & Lunches
Parents of infants are requested to provide formula, baby food
(when your child is ready), diapers & wipes. For toddlers & preschoolers,
we provide two snacks daily and drinks at lunch. Parents opf tots &
preschoolers pack a self-contained lunch each day. Our House currently
offers Hot Lunch every Tuesday and Friday; parents may sign up for
this day for $3.50 per day.
