Financial Assistance:  Evergreen Academy offers scholarships to families, based on financial need. Scholarships are limited. Families wishing to apply should request an application from the school. Scholarships are awarded without discrimination on the basis of race.

Registration Procedures: We register all current Preschool, Elementary & Middle School parents during the first week of March followed by open registration to the public after that. To re-enroll, all necessary re-enrollment forms must be completed and registration fees must be paid. Tuition must be current to register. Immunizations must also be current and on file.

Admission: Students are considered for admission to Evergreen Academy without discrimination on the basis of racial background. Families must review school literature, interview with a school administrator, and complete an application prior to being considered for admission; placement testing is done at the administrator's judgment. Placement is made based on class composition, staff capabilities and the administrator's assessment of a student's needs. Once the appropriate forms are complete and registration fees are paid, a student may be admitted to Evergreen Academy.

Statement on Handling Special Needs Kids: Children with special needs of any kind are welcome. We enroll such children after evaluating that child's need and our staff's capabilities.

Fundraising At Evergreen Academy: Evergreen Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tuition covers only part of the operating costs at Evergreen Academy. Other costs are covered through grants, private donations and fundraising. School Service Hours: To encourage parental involvement in their children's education and to facilitate the well-being of the school, each adult in the home is required to perform 20 hours of service to the school. A list is available from the office of the school services opportunities open to parents. School service hours are logged in the office. Parents receive periodic notes informing them of the number of school service hours completed. Unfulfilled hours are billed at $20/hour at the end of the school year.

Evergreen Academy Parent Council: We extend to all parents an invitation to join the Parent Council. One representative from each classroom to the council is requested each year. This service fulfills Service Hours.

The mission of the Parent Council is to:

  • Facilitate good communication between the school and parents

  • Help schedule, promote and host student and parent activities

  • Encourage pride in the children and in the Academy

  • Assist the Academy in improving and expanding its name recognition in the Evergreen area

  • Raise funds for activities consistent with the purpose of Evergreen Academy.
