Evergreen Academy and Our House have a unique mission in the mountain area.  We are called to create an open, caring community that is true to the historic Christian faith.  We are motivated by our love for children to care for them and educate them to the highest standards.  We generally hire teachers for the new school year in March and April, but sometimes have openings at other times of the year.  Our compensation for professional teachers is at the top of the private school pay scale. We offer health benefits, plus the advantage of working and ministering in a small, stable setting.

Evergreen Academy currently has the following openings:

Half-time: Kindergarten teacher needed to work Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 12:30pm. Teacher certification is required.

Full-time: Classroom teacher needed to teach a combined 2nd and 3rd grade classroom. Teacher certification is required. This is a salaried position with benefits. Hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Part-time: Office administrator/part-time Kindergarten supervisor needed to work 9:00 - 3:30. Must have good computer knowledge and good customer relations skills. Pay is $11 - $13 per hour depending on qualifications.

Our House Children's Learning Center currently has the following openings:

Part-time: One's classroom teacher needed to work Tuesday/Thursday 7:30 - 4:00. Applicant must be group leader qualified.

Part-time: Floating Teacher needed to work daily from 1:00 - 6:00pm. Applicant must be able to work with children ages 1 - 5 and must be group leader qualified.

Group Leader Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Associate's degree in Early Childhood or 3 year's experience supervising groups of 4 or more unrelated children under the age of 6.
