New Mexico Mission Trip

Each year, our middle school students have participated in a mission trip to Christ for All Nations, a Christian mission to the Navajo people of northern New Mexico. The cost of this trip is approximately $125. Students and chaperones meet at Evergreen Academy on a Monday morning and drive to Counselor, New Mexico, 75 miles southeast of Durango. While at CFAN, students get to know the Navajo culture, participate in a “reading buddies” program and help with games and crafts; they also perform drama and puppetry for two Navajo churches.  Students return to Evergreen Academy on Thursday evening, after a brief stop at the Colorado Sand Dunes. This is a wonderful learning experience for all involved.
